Some would say he has one hell of a good eye. We just call him our creative mastermind with a captivating portfolio and a career that spans three decades.
He has worked as an artist, illustrator, designer, and creative leader. He has created brand identities, digital, print and outdoor advertising campaigns, web sites, packaging, tradeshow design, and videos for a broad range of national and regional clients. A partial client list includes Apple, Haworth, X-rite, Toshiba, Canon, and Epson. His work has won numerous local, regional, and national design awards and has appeared in various publications, including Graphis Packaging, Print Magazine, and Communication Arts.
Mark also has a passion for teaching others about his craft. In 2002, Mark co-founded Polishing Center, a portfolio and career development program whose primary purpose was to assist newcomers to the advertising and design industry in their pursuit of improving professional creative standards and making connections for potential employment. He has also served as an adjunct professor for Michigan State University and Kendall College of Art and Design.
Before joining Conan Venus And Company in 2019, Mark owned Bird Design, where he provided a full range of creative services to various clients, from local start-ups to Fortune 500 global brands, for 25 years.
